The Very Likeable and Upstanding Paramount Health Solutions Team

Know. Like. Trust.

These three little words have a big impact on decision-making. And these three words are at the core of the Paramount Health Solutions business model.

The Paramount team developed a Code of Ethics that are not merely words on a page, but tenets we take to heart and uphold daily.

The first statement on the PHS ethical standards says:

“Our clients can expect a relationship based on honesty, integrity, objectivity, transparency and professionalism.”

Another standard states:

“Our clients can expect direct, open and timely communication throughout our engagement.”

Two other important statements in the Paramount code are:

“Our clients can expect us to be approachable and open to improvement suggestions.”

“Our clients can expect an honest assessment of potential opportunities and realistic expectations of results from our services.”

The “know, like and trust” factor is part of the journey that a potential client makes when choosing a partner or vendor.

Paramount Health Solutions starts a relationship by offering a 90-day pre-bill audit at no out-of-pocket cost to the healthcare organization. This presents an opportunity for the two parties to get to know each other, and for the PHS consultants to prove our value.

With a combined 50 years of CDI/DRGV and clinical experience inside hospitals and as healthcare consultants, the Paramount Health Solutions team brings deep insights and significant skills to the table.

Paramount typically inspects about 250 select charts during an initial review. As CDI and coding experts, we readily detect errors, omissions, imprecise terminology and patterns that are recurring at that hospital.

At the conclusion of the review, PHS presents a report to the client that shows how the hospital can improve its clinical documentation and coding in order to have more accurate charts, avoid potential audits, attain better reimbursements and limit denials.

Both parties take time to discuss the results, ask questions of each other and examine the opportunities at hand. PHS typically finds that 15 to 20 percent of the reviewed charts will have opportunities for rebilling valued between $2,500 to $4,000 per chart.

At this point, the client can see the amount of money the hospital can recoup from the rebill, the quality of work that PHS delivers, the good communications we foster, and our passion for helping healthcare organizations stay ahead in a difficult and challenging environment.

Current clients certainly like and trust the PHS experts. Paramount leaders constantly seek to get to know more hospitals who could benefit from our services.
